Spa Ho's Lunch - June 19, 2009

Lunch was wonderful...service was a little strained, but we had a great time anyway! The champagne and wine were flowing, served by our very own wine steward, Lindy.

Each of us received a beautiful single yellow rose which signifies - Joy, Gladness, Friendship, Delight, Promise of a new beginning, Welcome Back, Remember Me, "I care".

Mary Lynn had the Spa Ho 2009 Calendars printed and we each received our very own. Too cool!

Everyone also received a data disk with; the movie, the music from Girls Night, the power point of the calendar and all photos taken on Girls Night.

There was some discussion of a future trip to The Battlehouse in Mobile and the upcoming broadway plays that will be coming to the Montgomery Performing Arts Center at the beginning of 2010. Sounds like more fun is headed our way!

SSSH Girls Night: The Movie

June 5th marked the Inaugural Secret Society of Spa Hos Annual Pajamarama Sleepover at the Renaissance Montgomery Hotel & Spa.

At 5:00pm the evening started off with the ringing of the bell to open Happy Hour at the Exchange, the drinks were flowing (heavily and happily), food...oh my goodness...words CANNOT describe how wonderful the Fried Sweet Potatoes with goat cheese dip and spiced pecans (one of the SSSH's described these as ORGASMIC) and did I mention the Pecan Crusted Chicken Fingers with Three Pepper Jelly, the Fried Green Tomatoes with Creole Mustard Dipping Sauce, the Catfish Fingers with Caper Tartar Sauce and Black Eye Pea Fritters with Red Pepper Aioli (only in the South). To say the food was amazing is such an understatement!!! Yes we Hos spent 2 & 1/2 wonderful hours on the patio eating and drinking and eating and drinking and eating and drinking...you get the picture!

After Happy Hour, our newly crowned Queen, Heather, rang the bell signifying the end of Happy Hour and led by our very own SpaHo troubadour, Sam, the Spa Ho Parade danced its way through the hotel to the Montgomery Performing Arts theater where we had

front row seats to watch "Girls Night The Musical", it was a scream! We danced, we sang, we had an awesome time.

After the show, all the Hos gathered on stage for a photo op...aren't we just the cutest Spa Hos ever?

Then we had the honor of meeting the cast. Here is our CEO Ho (Mary Lynn) & her angel...are they cute or what?


After all that excitement it was back to the Exchange for more good food, good drinks, and good times. Around midnight we moved on to the Presidential Suite for some relaxing and soothing music on the piano. Even though we hated for the night to end, we did eventually go to bed (around 2:00am).

Then back up the next morning at 9:00am for an amazing breakfast buffet at The House, the amazing restaurant at the Renaissance Montgomery Hotel & Spa.

Then it was head home or head to the Spa...think about it...What would you do?

Don't you just love it when a plan comes together?!?
